Its hard to believe we were taking photos barefoot on a beach a few days ago, as I sit here listening to the rain, and sipping on my (homemade) pumpkin spiced latte!
But we were, and it was every bit as magic as it looked!
I know I say every family is the sweetest, but this one truly was! I came home and told my husband that I was so inspired by their dynamic.
The girls, Sloane and Avery, were my instant friends,( maybe because we all happened to be wearing romperalls.) I had so much fun laughing and playing with them, that I forgot we only just met minutes before.
One of my favourite moments of the shoot was when I was capturing the girls running and playing with the most beautiful sun behind them, only to happen to look back and see their parents (Ashlee and Matt) hugging and beaming with pride, as they admired their beautiful girls. It was such pure love, both between them, and for their girls, it was so beautiful to witness.
I've been to Cooney bay many times, and it really never disappoints. It may be my favourite place both to shoot, and explore, in Kamloops.
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do, and I am proud to have had the opportunity to capture and share.
